The role of low-iron aluminum hydroxide in glass is to increase chemical stability, reduce glass expansion and crystallization tendency and quality change, enhance thermal shock resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, and improve glass hardness, mechanical strength, and elastic modulus. at the same time, the optical properties such as whiteness, transparency, gloss, brightness, and color development of the glass can be improved.
